To Love-Ru Darkness 2nd
How was the regional?
This regional was probably the most heart-pounding tournament I've been in in a while. From minor delays that seemed to take forever, to mulling over percentages in a crucial game moment, everything seemed to just slow down and take longer than it actually did. It was exhilarating.
How do you win with your deck?
This deck relies on the finishing power of the ::Transformation::/::Housework:: archetype, the consistency and the early game power of the ::Alien:: deck, and my own little spice with the Ren and Run combo tying the deck together along with the Trial Deck Yami. Find out more on my blog at climaxphase.wordpress.com in the coming days.
Any shoutouts?
Shoutouts to every single one of my opponents. Each of you were a pleasure to face, and almost every game was close. Also, shoutout to Richie for being a supporting pillar after his defeat to me in Round 2.

Little Busters!
How was the regional?
It went way better than expected. Was planning to 0-1 drop and grab food with some friends. Somehow made it to the finals and got second. The TLR deck I played in the last round was a huge challenge and props to him for playing well. Definitely the most enjoyable match I had throughout the tournament and the suspense was amazing.
How do you win with your deck?
We play for a level 1, 2, and 3 game. Our level 0 is for utility and no Little Busters! deck is complete without Riki to search at level 0. We search for our level 1 Rin combo to find our level 2 change Rin. Then we push the level 2 game and end with finishers ranging from level 3 Rin shot on cancel climax combo, Kyousuke, or Sasami reverse shoot to clock. The deck had a few iterations but this was value.dec at the end of the day.
Any shoutouts?
I'd like to thank the organizers of the tournament and Treasure Chest for running such a great tournament. In addition I'd like to give a shoutout to my friend Mike F for helping me playtest casually all the time and for making me come to this event. I also can't forget to thank Andro/Andor/Andre for having his name in my deck and playing Weiss with me all the time. Also thanks Puddi, Vlad, TacTac, CXu, Blub, and Nick. o/
How was the regional?
It was fun and its great to finally show who the world's number one idol is.
How do you win with your deck?
I believed that Nico was the top idol and she came through. Her defensive abilities at level 3 and her shoot to clock on both turns saved the day many times!
