Waterford, FL - Cool Stuff Games Waterford

Sword Art Online
How was the regional?
I was surprised by the big turnout. I saw a lot of awesome unique decks like Dog Days and Nichijou and, as the advisor, the event ran very smoothly.
How do you win with your deck?
Level 0 is simple beaters with the clock reverser and Asuna beater. Level 1 is a bunch of searching with the Lvl 1 Yuuki CX Combo along with a wall of 1/0 Asunas with hand encore. Level 2 is all about killing any changers that the opponent used using the massive power boost from the 2/1 Asuna. Finally, end the game with clock kicking and the 3/2 Asuna and 0/0 Yuuki.
Any shoutouts?
I'd like to thank all of the people in Orlando that learned the game and picked it up over time, especially Joseph Muoio and Marc Sutter. And finally I'd like to thank everyone in South Florida Coolstuff for all the locals and good games, especially Sean, my original mentor for this game.
There's no need to play a meta deck. Just play what you love and you'll never have a bad game in your life.

Girl Friend Beta
How was the regional?
Lots of fun! Last year had a turnout of around 12-13 people, so I was really excited when we pulled a good 21 people for today's tournament. I've been playing for around 1.5 years now, and I did know a lot of those attending. It definitely made for a number of exhilarating matches. :)
How do you win with your deck?
How do you win?: A lot of the blue GF Beta cards that I run are efficient at being pretty big during my opponent's turn and, assuming I capture any Backups into my hand, there's possibilities of making them even stronger should the opponent seriously boost one character. With that, I'm able to maintain hand advantage, have lots of stock, and even keep around a couple of utility cards for either searching or salvaging should the opportunity arise.
Then, I get to Level 2/3 and the center stage cards get even bigger. :)
Any shoutouts?
Blushing Santa ftw! Thanks to everyone from Central Florida for all the experiences! And a special shoutout to Bazett, Endless Holy Grail War for the most death-defying, close matches I've ever played
