How was the regional?
It was fun getting to play in a different environment.
How do you win with your deck?
Level 0 has Nyanta and Soujirou beating down while the Akatsuki deals with what they can't. At level 1, the 1/0 Shiroe keeps hand and stock full while 1/1 Rundelhaus and 1/0 Isuzu take care of the bigger threats. Level 2 is where the deck gets really fun, since stock is plentiful by this point. The 2/2 Rundelhaus makes for a heavy hitter with a full field and his shoot ability can get in a fast five. The 2/1 Akatsuki hand filters and changes, while the 2/1 Minori combo can shove problem characters to bottom deck. Level 3 is pretty straightforward: play 3/2 Akatsuki, play gate climax, turn characters sideways.
Any shoutouts/comments?
Shoutouts to everyone at Top Cut Comics Chicago and to Kymantas for the drive out.

I enjoyed it,than again I always enjoy going to new stores :)
How do you win with your deck?
Most Climaxes I play plus hand size. At level 0, Shu keeps high power early game while the blue Tsugumi maintains hand
size. Level 1, 1/1 green Inori to keep board presence and keep stock a plenty. Level 2 Shu gets it in like no other
card for no reason :P The level 3 game I wish had a better finisher because Shu isn't online all the time, but it does
work when need it be. Plenty top checks to predict order of attacks or to keep climaxes floating in deck. MUCH HEAL,
SUCH SALVAGE, VERY SCRY, WOW!!!

How was the regional?
My regional felt was somewhat strange in my opinion since most of my opponents were my friends I play the game with
often so it really didn't feel like I was playing at a regional more than we friends just playing casually together like
we do every now and than.
How do you win with your deck?
My deck wins by just being consistent most of the times due to card advantage from level 0 with Riki.
Any shoutouts/comments?
Shout out to my friends who played with me and those who went to Tennessee for the Bushiroad World Championship.

How was the regional?
It was nice and everyone was really friendly!
How do you win with your deck?
At level 1, 2, and 3, there are cards that pay out stock either just before or just after an attack (if condition is met). This is to try my best to keep the stock clean at all times. At level 3 is where this deck truly shines with the heal spam, which albeit may be outdated, but the caveat is Mio in Maid Uniform's effect to tutor more heals. As long as the opponent is not running heal tax or misses it, the Mio/Kud heal spam is still quite the force to reckon with. The level 0 Rin Natsume 1k booster also allows to set up some nice numbers in conjunction with the level 2 event and 2k1s to get over most obstacles.
Any shoutouts/comments?
I'd like to give a shoutout to my good friend Steve W. for playing against me intensively with his Nanoha deck entitled "Law of Cycles" in preparation for the event. Unfortunately he didn't make the cut but got third place.
Mio is also written as "beautiful fish" and I wish I could play 4x "Rest!" in my deck.

How was the regional?
Right off the bat knowing that 45 people entered and the first thing I had to play against was Nisekoi, I was just about ready to throw in the towel in regards to getting an invite; so to go this far the least I could say about the regional is that it was a thrill! It was ran smoothly and every match I played was equally exciting and nerve wracking from start to finish.
How do you win with your deck?
It’s a pretty standard build of Kantai Collection besides several cards, so a lot of it is self explanatory and varies from game-to-game but essentially Level0: set-up anti-heal and anti-salvage, try to get Verniy out at lv0, get opponent to 0-5, try to level up to 1 first. Level1: pull off as many of Shimakiaze’s climax combo as possible so that my lv2/3 game is set, try to stay plus in hand and kill as many of my opponents cards as possible. Level2: get prepared for lv3, attempt to trample one of my opponents lv3 changers or irregularly powerful cards with I-8 Kai, try to compress and sometimes anti-compress my opponent with Item Shop as well as avoiding refresh damage or just simply put things back into my deck, and hopefully get my opponent to lv3 first, although it depends on matchup, example: i don’t want to deal with the 3/2 Marika so id try to get to lv3 first. Level3: drop 3 Akagi’s or 3 Musashi’s onto the field, depending on matchup and hopefully ending the game here, if not, depending on how the game plays out ideally if i got to lv3 last ill have wiped their field with Akagi, and if they’re stranded without lv3’s and I’m somewhere between 3-0 and 3-3 ill probably survive another turn and winning then is braindead. And as a note to fellow Teitoku, I can’t emphasize enough how much you should be using Item Shop Girl, I know a lot of people sleep on the usefulness of this card but I can say without a doubt that if I wasn’t using it for this tournament I wouldn’t have won.
Any shoutouts/comments?
Shoutout of course to the NYC WeiB Schwarz group for introducing me to the game and getting me into it, I’ve played a handful of various card games and I’ve quit all of them within a few months, Weiss Schwarz is the only one thats held my attention and that I genuinely enjoy, its just my opinion but I think the general concept that the games last much longer than games like yugioh is much more fun; Shoutout to Mario for convincing me to play Kantai Collection and Mike V. for selling me the cards; And shoutout to Item Shop Girl for stacking 7 climaxes on top of my deck to cancel a double-3/2 marika onslaught in my first game, wouldn’t have won without it!
Looking forward to seeing everyone in Rochester, I have my eyes set on a free ride to Japan lol

Stressful. I don't think my blood pressure has ever fluctuated that much in any other event I've
gone to. But it was definitely still fun and surprising! All the people I believed were going to top didn't... except
Alvin! And all my matches were so clutch.... except Alvin's...
How do you win with your deck?
I play cards onto the field, turn them sideways and expect my opponent and their waifus to take it.
Any shoutouts/comments?
Shoutouts to Jasmine S. for helping me with funds and donations! Jenny Ojou-sama for her donations and

How was the regional?
The regional was fantastic, short but sweet, and very professional. All the players I played with were fun to play with, and very nice. I ended up playing against a very scary all vanilla deck.
How do you win with your deck?
My deck plays a fairly easy going game. The main goal is to beat your opponent's cards on your own turn, and then get card advantage via the brainstormer. With all of the RIcca Level 1s contributing to a very high level 1 burst power, I can run over most level 1s and some level 2s with ease. Level 2 has 2 options for the most part, continue the level 1 plan, if you can win battles still, or play the 2/2 Ricca. The 2/2 Ricca comes out to generate lots of clean stock, and keep card advantage by being hard to kill. Its not always the best option though, so care is needed. Level 3 wants to play out 4 of the Ricca burn level 3 to end the game fast. There are 2 heal level 3s to run over opposing level 3s if needed.
Any shoutouts/comments?
I want to shoutout to Carl G. for hosting a great event. Another shoutout to Keith and Jeff for letting me stay in their place over the weekend.
(Himeno, Summer Memories) She's super cute. Her ability is also really good. The free stock is great when you're going to be losing battles anyway.

How was the regional?
Nice, quick, and simple. 24 players come in and 4 players come out. Disaster didn't strike and the store didn't get flooded out, so all was well. The games were close and the players were courteous.
How do you win with your deck?
Akatsuki, Two's Waltz and Soujirou let you maintain strong power during level 0 at very low resource cost, which lets you keep your hand nice and full. Continue building stock through level 1, using Isuzu to take out gargantuan level 1 characters and clock encore Shiroe to maintain field presence. In dire situations, the clock encore Shiroe can force you up to level 2 if necessary. If the circumstances allow it, cash in your stock for an early change level 3 Akatsuki at level 2. Once level 3 hits, cash everything in on the level 3s you've been amassing over the course of the game, and let the real game begin. Make sure the opponent's field has at least 1 character in the front row at all times, which will allow you to both burn and resist damage.
Throughout the game, use both the Shiroe brainstorm and Marielle support to control refresh timing and compression. Keep the threat of cheap and powerful backups in the background, and use them to protect that which is most precious to you.
Always think thirty seconds ahead.
Any shoutouts/comments?

Changeup at level 0 from Hibiki to Verniy for Anti heal and strong board, use Hatsukaze for to keep gates from being a problem, Shimakaze and I-8 for hand fixing , then either play Musashi for lots of damage or Akagi to just get the last bit of damage in. Compasses save lives as well.

It was alright
How do you win with your deck?
Set up to maximize the climax combos in the deck at lvl 1 and 2, while trying to keep the early stock as clean as possible. At lvl 3 you finish off the opponent with several 3/2 Kyousuke. The 2/3 counter will stop most of the more devastating finishers giving you extra turns to push for game should the opponent survive Kyousuke's onslaught.
Any shoutouts/comments?
Thanks to Kit K. and Eric L. for brainstorming and deck testing with me.
If Nisekoi is too rampant in your meta this deck trivializes the standard build that focuses on finishing out the game with 3/2 Marika.

How was the regional?
Great!
How do you win with your deck?
By setting up at level 0 and putting in 2 attacks minimum each turn to gain stock. At level 1, I utilize one of the climax combos that allow me to gain advantage. Which combo I use depends on which of the characters and climax I have in hand. The pendents act as the way to maintain advantage and use the level 2 Kosaki to refresh. And then with most Nisekoi decks, use the level 3s to put in damage. Especially using the combo with the level 3 Marika and Chitoge.
Any shoutouts/comments?

How was the regional?
Fun. Overall a positive experience, I was honestly hoping not to face any Nisekoi decks due to the extremely powerful 3/2 Marika restander and the 2/1 Onodera deck refresher. The one opponent that I faced who was playing Nisekoi got both, which scared the *living daylights* out of me, but I still somehow managed to pull through.
How do you win with your deck?
"Leo, Fair and Square" in the back for anti-salvage and power boosts, combined with the "Couvert Eschenbach Pastillage" changer at level 2, and the "Millhiore Firianno Biscotti" healer/burner at level 3 make for a big wall/quick rush playstyle where the level 1 game lasts until late 2/3. Essentially, it's beating over your opponent's walls and burning to win/waste climaxes.
Any shoutouts/comments?
(regarding the L3 Millhi) Heal on play, then if you reverse the opponent's card facing it, burn for one damage. In fact, it brought me victory for three games. There was one where I simply attacked for game with her, but in the other two I literally pinged the last damage with her effect.

How was the regional?
Amazing and relaxing. Most players are from the local community and my fame is already too much to them. It's an enjoyable experience overall.
How do you win with your deck?
With Yukikaze it generates infinite hand in sacrifice of stock, which is less likely useful for my deck anyway. Junyou is very good too, once she hits the field she is staying forever, unless opponent is running persona 3. Hibiki stops them from healing, and Hatsukaze can widen the hand differences because it stops them from salvaging with gates or climax combos, and most people choose gates but not books for hands because they feel like picking more than random stuffs. It is also powerful against effects that shoot characters to clock, because most of the time the field is empty; and if they push weak characters to the front to make sure I have a field, it just let me finish them with lv3s. Also with the power of love and belief, trust your deck so it will give you what you want. In other word build your own deck and use it in your own style, that's how you carry out strategies of yours.
Any shoutouts/comments?
Thank you for Matt and Paul who ran the event smoothly, especially Paul, he was there as a volunteer or something. For Matt, I hope his legs are fine after all those walking for reports. How was the regional?
Had good time. The people were great.
How do you win with your deck?
Level 0 game is fairly usual. Try to get to level 1 first however and build up field presence (Kosaki, First Visit and Marika, Tilting Her Head to deal with larger level 1s), stock, and hand size(with the climax combo for Marika, Loving Carnage and Marika's Pendant of Promise). This includes getting 1-2 pendents in memory. At this point Raku Being Similar and Chitoge, Words of Promise are usually supporting in the back. Then at level 2, try to play Kosaki, Maiden's Heart quickly and search for another or another level 3 to prepare. Also always try for the Kosaki, Angel in White Clothing refresh effect even if it requires clocking or a brainstorm. At this point is usually where you want to put your opponent ahead of you and up to level 3, and when you get up to level 3, aim for Marika to get in there and finish them off.

By two searching cards, 1draw and clock 2 draw, my hand can keep since level 1. Additionally, climax rate in my deck continue to increase by search. After level 2, my deck can attack 4 times by soul 3 characters. Therefore, if climax rate in opponent player's deck is low, the 4 attacks give so many damages. If no finishing it, using level 3 characters' skills or once more doing 4 attacks.

The power of Morgan Freeman's voice. It is so powerful, he can make a dictionary sound more exciting than the World Cup Final. With his voice, you can't fall asleep, you can eat a mountain, cancel damage, eat a mountain, cancel some more damage. In fact, you don't even need to take any extraneous training in the mountains or sit under a waterfall(not that you could find one in Minnesota that wouldn't freeze you). All you have to do is listen to his voice and everything just seems to work. No food, no nourishment, no sleep, no car, no legs, no hands(let's be honest here, we were given two of them for a a good reason; in case you lose one). Five minutes is enough to make you cancel ALL the damage. Look at someone who plays before they listen to his voice and after. Before all you see is a mound of salty fries. After you see an empty mound of salty fries because I ate them. The M in McDonalds obviously stands for Morgan Freeman. Did I mention that his voice can cause people to do the impossible? Like me for instance. I was actually able to win a game. Not only that, but I was able to win four of them. I was only taught how to count to three because that's how many wheels are on a tricycle. WeiB Schwarz is a struggle for all of those that can't count to four. Who decided that you lost at level four? That was cruel of them. All of the poor people like myself that were not enlightened through the therapy of Morgan Freeman's voice struggle to play WeiB Schwarz. But I was able to conquer my own ineptness with the power of bass vocals. Could you imagine if they cloned Morgan Freeman? I couldn’t. It would make my head explode. That would be nasty. Exploding heads are bad for you, at least that’s what the Internet says.
Really, Morgan Freeman's voice.

How was the regional?
Regionals was super stressful for me. At breakfast about 1 and a half hours before the event my friend fell super Ill, and I had to rush her and her boyfriend to the hospital. So I only showed up with maybe 30 min to spare, and not any time to level out or get focused.
The actual event was super fun, and I got to play a few new kinds of decks that I hadn't played before. I also forgot my playmat, and extra cards to trade so I didn't really feel ready at all.
How do you win with your deck?
I built this deck to be anti-monogatri meta. So most people that had played against this type of deck know about the stoplight G/Y/R, so I played what they aren't expecting.
Level 0, Build stock and use Shinobu to keep the waifu down,. The 0/0 Tsukihi's are great assists and can be used in the event that you don't get a hanekawa, The Meme Oshino is normally saved for level 1 in case my exp targets don't show up in the right place.
Level 1, Hand advantage though the lovers CC and if possible get out the 1/1 hanekawas, keep high hand count for drop character
Level 2: The 2/1 Tsuki Phoenix combo is also very good, and the single. The
2/1 +3K will bring down your opponents change targets. If hurting for cards use strength of loser
Level 3: between Hanekawa and Hitagi keep your opponent at a disadvantage and don't let them keep annoying cards around. The Kanbaru is really there for more drop character stuff and healing

The WeiB Schwarz Uber Skype facebook group for helping me get this deck sorted out and always having someone up for a game.
In particular KY791 for going above and beyond in the helping me out and Oliver S. for running me though a 'meta gauntlet' to make sure the deck was ready for whatever people brought.
Also my GF Alyssa for putting up with me getting ready. She's best girl.
I really love this game, and think that this deck is proof of that. I like that you can be anti common meta and still successful.
Also play games against more then your friends. Having the exp against other sets and play styles from a non local meta allowed me to be prepared for what sets and cards did and how sets played. I strongly credit this exp to how well I did.

Level 0 game, concentrates on setting up for level 1 along with trying to disarm their threats, such as 0/0 4500 Satsuki or 0/0 Senketsu. Level 1 as just a continuation of level 0, setting up for level 2 and using zero stock characters that can run over their large level 1s, such as 1/0 Satsuki and 1/0 Ryuko. Level 2 is all in for the 3/2 Satsuki, using all the tools the deck has to make sure it happens at 2, such as the Junketsu event, 2/1 Ryuko support, and 1/0 Senketsu searcher. Level 3 uses the 3/2 Satsuki to heal and the 3/2 Ryuko to finish the game.

It was pretty fun. Had Chick fil a, played against people I've never played against and bought more Bushiroad things I don't need.
How do you win with your deck?
At level 0 I have the hand encore chitoge that lets me keep a consistent field and the suicider chitoge that deals with big level 0s and has a good ability for staying alive.
At level 1 you play a pendant and play the really large 1/0 4.5k Chitoges that become 6.5k with a pendant in memory with the 1/0 4k Chitoge assist, it makes it really easy to become 8k. But if they run multiple copies of level 1 suiciders, you play the 1/0 Marika 4.5k that has clock encore and keep a strong field. There's also level 1 suicider Marikas in case of playing against Phantom and the 1/0 Marika punch in case of level 1s that change into level 2s and level 2s that change into level 3s.
At level 2 you should have a ton of stock since everything you play besides the pendants are 0 cost, so you can normally play a bunch of 3/2 Onoderas and have huge walls.
At level 3 you have one of the best finishers in the game, 3/2 Marikas and healers, 3/2 Chitoge in case things get a little difficult. Any shoutouts/comments?

How was the regional?
The regional was honestly fantastic. It was a lot of fun to play my deck in a competitive scene like that, and each round was both exhilarating and nerve-wracking fighting for the top 8. Going out to dinner with friends to celebrate afterwards was also a ton of fun. So excited for Nationals coming up!
How do you win with your deck?
The deck mostly wins through overwhelming the opponent's resources by building up handsize faster and denying their advantage. My deck mostly uses the Level 1 Rin to search out key cards I'll need late-game and build up handsize while the Clock Encore Sasami builds up stock and the Kyousuke denies a lot of decks out of their advantage engine. At Level 2, Yuiko and Kyousuke start killing opponent characters and make up for losses in damage if needed. Riki heals cards out of Clock and lets me overwhelm the opponent's board presence at Level 3, and the Kyousuke is used again to finish games. Proper management of 2k1s and 1k1s climaxes to juggle handsize and damage is basically the key to the deck, and the thing I learned the most about as I playtested coming into Regionals.

Lots of fun! Good matches all around, I made a new Rival, and I only lost to another member of my playgroup, who then went undefeated anyway (I lost to him three times! Once in Swiss, once for the final match, and once in Two Pack Fight!).
How do you win with your deck?
At level 0, I shut down their teck with Nui, Pulling Threads and set up my midgame with Satsuki, First Step to the Goal. At level 1, I either play Berserk Ryuko against decks with low power at level 1 (Shimakaze in Kantai, for example) or play 0s until their heavy hitting Level 1s are played (Love Lives 1/0 Eri), and then blow them up with Ryuko, To A New Self. At level 2, I either heal up with the Lv3 Satsuki (I've learned to read my climaxes to be able to tell if the heal will happen), play Jakuzure, Satsukis Childhood Friend if I can't early-play my Lv3 or if they have Anti-Heal, and set up my Level 3, where I drop a wall of 3/2 Mako, Can't Be Stopped and swing for game. If I can go into Level 2 without being seriously behind, and with 7+ Stock, I can generally force the game from there.
Any shoutouts/comments?
Team Space Whale, represent! My Girlfriend CJ for being supportive even when her deck doesn't agree with her, Team Space Whale for being great playtesters and practice partners (Three of us in the Top 8!), Heart of the Cards for having all the card translations and a surprisingly high-level forum community.
(regarding Satsuki L3) Waifu tier for Lifeu tier, she's an early-play level 3 that doesn't decompress my deck much, heals, and is a 10500 beatstick to boot. And when my opponent plays Anti-Heal, her childhood friend Jakuzure takes her place at level 2 very comfortably.

How was the regional?
It was great! It has been a long time since that I can feel the thrill of winning or losing on a single attack. I pretty much got my setup for all of my games and they went well. I got to use every single card in my deck today and I was glad that I have them in my deck during those times.
How do you win with your deck?
During my level 0 game, I just do what most deck do, sit on either a big level 0 and wait for level 1 or use suiciders and run into my opponent's big level 0s.
At level 1, I use my level 1 suicider to get rid of high power 1/1s then sit on my clock encore and counter my opponent. Countering allows me to leave an empty space in my opponent's field if they choose not to encore, which then comes into my level 2 game.
At level 2 I use Nyanta san to pull my opponent's back row supports to the front and using Minori's climax combo to remove them off the field completely even if they have the stock to encore them.
Lastly for my level 3 game, I just simply drop down Shiroe and Akatsuki. Shiroe allows my to have anti burn, which is good against most decks except decks that run clock kickers. Also his ability of -2 soul is pretty much the best skill to have for not taking damage. Akatsuki's climax combo is my finisher, it allows me to run over my opponent with her own base 15k power and burn 1 on reverse, also she is kinda my only choice since she is only 1 of the 2 finishers in the whole series.
On a side note on the other finisher, which is the 2/2 Rundelhaus. He allows me to burn 5 on attack, which is pretty versatile on different situations. I can increase my damage output to max if I know my opponent is out of climax or get rid of 1 climax and poke for 2 damage if I know my opponent still has like 1 climax in his deck. What I want to say is that, if it went through and my opponent took 5, great, if not, meh.

With horrible starting hand and early climax triggers, I have fallen behind in almost every single game. But I maintained my advantage well in mid-late game and got lucky late game cancels. In game 2 I managed to cancel the last 3 damage after refreshing, and that boosted my confidence later on. The final game against Love Live I pretty much won by much luck, too.
How do you win with your deck?
Secure some stock and field advantage at level 0 with 3500 attackers and Miku reverser. It's also essential to have the brainstorm searcher handy along with lv0 global assist/blue miku as early as possible.
With clock encore Miku and Meiko, maximize your stock and hand size progressively. Also the trick of this deck is that you can manipulate your clock at exactly 6 by the end of your opponent's turn and get rid of climaxes by clocking.
Using the lv0 blue Miku, get to level 1 and/or 2 first while running over your opponent's characters. If you never refresh before level 2, now it's your chance to pull off the 3/2 Miku and turn the tables around. Otherwise you can play 2/1 "Orbit" or "Siren" to bring out strong characters with barely any cost. "Siren" is a risky card to play, but if you manage your climax and event cards properly you can avoid its tremendous side effect.
At level 3, play "Resonating Diva" to cycle out your cards with minimal stock paid and keep the strong cards in your hand. To assure victory, "Always Ringing" Miku clock kicks your battle opponent as well.

Vividred Operation
How was the regional?
It was fantastic.
How do you win with your deck?
It has a solid level 0 game with multiple strategies. The 0/0 Wakaba that stuns when she directs counters highlander cards, the 0/0 3500 Akanes run over a lot of things, especially when you have the global +500 to key and the Aoi that lets you rest two characters to give another character +2000. It also has the 0/0 Aoi that docks to make Vivid Blue as a suitable backup in case no other level 0s are drawn. The level 0 game has a ton of power for no real reason and plenty of climax control, with multiple ways to pay climaxes out of stock and filter them from the hand.
At level 1, ideally the deck will dock to Vivid Blue, which is a 9000 monster that quickly takes things over. Additionally, the 1/0 5000 Akane and 1/0 3000 reverser/suicider Vivid Red provide sufficient support, especially if the docking is unable to occur. With the aforementioned 0/0 Aoi that gives a character +2000, the deck can consistently run over almost anything, or at the very least, force out a counter with minimal investment.
The deck just rides Vivid Blue to level 3, and if docking occurred at level 1, more Vivid Blues can just be played from hand. 2/1 9000s are very good especially when they have a chance to draw you cards.
At level 3 the deck really shines. I run three different level 3s that all synergize rather well together. The 3/2 Akane and 3/2 Wakaba let me quickly steal games if my opponent has a lot of climaxes in waiting room, hand, or stock. If the game is going to stay at level 3 for awhile, the 3/2 Aoi and 3/2 Wakaba insure that my field will almost always be bigger than my opponent’s. The deck has a reasonable amount of heal and compresses extremely well, so at level 3 it can easily play a grind game or a burn game, depending on the matchup or situation.
tl;dr version if the above is too much for the site (-Head Judge's note - it probably is, but who cares, I love the writeup!): Overall, the deck is extremely powerful at all stages of the game and snowballs extremely quickly. If cards are allowed to stay out at level 0 or 1 and constantly generate advantage and stock, that means at level 3 I can use a lot of strong and powerful effects all at once.

How do you win with your deck?
Basically Kougami points the Dominator at all your Waifus & it determines that they need to be eliminated. To be honest though, the deck started with me not having any gate climaxes to work with since they are so hard to find, but I got to a build where I could be comfortable without it. I run a bit more blue than most people but how could I not? Makishima is just too awesome to be left out. The main idea behind my deck is to change as much as possible, always trying to having a power advantage on your opponent with a bit of soul rush to finish them off. I like running a good amount of zeros so I can start off well & build stock for late game. The Akane suicider, Yayoi & Kougami that goes to 4k usually are enough to make me get off to a good start. At level 1, I try to get my 6k encore/change Kougamis on the field & try to change to the 2/2 9.5k as soon as I can. The 7k no backup Kougami seems to always be clutch for me & the 1/0 Kagari can reach pretty high power when I need him to. The Che Guzon backups help me out all the time here as well. To make up for the gates I don't have, I run the 1/0 climax combo Kougami that searches when he attacks. That, the Shion brainstorm & the level 0 Makishima usually provide enough search for me. Level 2 is simple just the 2/2 9.5s that should already be out, the Pops backup as well the Kougami assist that can change into your level 3. At 3, I try to already have the 3/2 Kougami out & I play the 3/2 Makishima with him to make some pretty nice combos. For climaxes I run 4 of the 2k1 which combos with the level 3 change, 2 of the 1k1 book trigger which combos with the 3/2 Makishima & 2 plus 2 souls. Yeah, I run the plus 2 soul, look at the card art! How could you be a fan of the show & not run that?!?

Da Capo
How was the regional?
Regionals was pretty fun and I had a great time playing.
How do you win with your deck?
My Da Capo deck is the Newspaper build. At level zero i use the runner in order to not lose a character, and also I use the Ricca hand change in order to trick my opponents into not attacking it because they don't know if i have the level one target in hand or not. When I go to level one i can play a field of level one Ricca's since the hand change target is good and can be a threat sometimes with its ability and the Ricca that can float at 6500 since its ability is to gain 500 for every other newspaper trait on field, the other level one Ricca that gives 2000 power to any other Newspaper trait character. Level two game is the same as level one but you have the option of playing the level 2 Sara which can be deadly with a full field. Level 3 is a little situational since you can probably do the climax combo only once and it is a game finisher. The other cards not mention also play a good role in the deck since most of them let me have field advantage. The most noticeable one I will talk about is the Level one Aoi which can refresh the deck so I do not have to take an extra damage and can give characters in front of it hand encore, saved me a in a lot of games.

Black Rock Shooter
How was the regional?
The regional here was great. It went smoothly. We had a big turn out and a lot of people showed up.
How do you win with your deck?
"Comet" Black Rock Shooter is a powerful utility that gets rid of problematic cards like characters with Hand/Clock Encore, or even just any other problematic characters that gives the opponent field advantage. The card also nets you a free card on the turn it was played and to top it off, this card is a change target for level 2, giving you earlier access to these advantages. The other Level 3 of the deck is Dead Master, Lord of Eternal Darkness. She is the final game push of the deck. On play, you heal one damage and you may pay 1 stock to check the top 3 of the opponent's deck and rearrange it how ever you want. This gives you the ability to strategies your play for final push. Whether it's to side for One guaranteed damage, or to direct for for five damage and force the opponent to cancel one on the first damage. All of my victories at regional consisted of me using this card to push for the win.
How my deck wins is it gains advantages by changing early game. Black Rock Shooter had low Change cost and lots of utility for set up at the cost of weaker level 3 game and zero salvage capabilities. By changing early game, you create a massive wall that stalls out time to set up for level 3 while dealing damage. Then at level 3, hopefully you've dealt enough damage to push for game with Dead Master. So in short, you optimize your plays and you cancel damage. Emphasis on the canceling damage. Because if you don't cancel damage, you're gonna have a bad time.
Any shoutouts/comments?
(Shoutouts to) all of the players that made it to the regional qualifiers. And shout outs to Henry C, Christopher Lee B, and Adan C, the other qualifiers. Everyone really brought out their A game. Shout outs to Tou "TK" K for the most intense match up during the qualifier and shout outs to Lynnzie S for the awesome waifu design for my playmats. And shout outs to Joel M, Som P, Chris R and Jason M, the Cards in Hand Group, if you haven't checked them out, please do so on their twitch and YouTube channel. And last but not least a very special shout out to Kana Hanazawa and Miyuki Sawashiro. Definitely best Girls.
The Rhythms of Africa is an inside joke that we at Level Up Games came up with during our sessions of Cards Against Humanity. It was only fitting that I use that as my title since it was always my winning answer to a problem.

How was the regional?
Fun with a hint of stress
How do you win with your deck?
My deck basically runs off its ability to gain stock and search/salvage at a manageable stock cost lvls 0-1 hitting lvl 2-3 with a hand set with roughly 2 Kosaki, Maiden’s Heart in order to set myself up for at least one marika lvl 3 into lvl 3. Giving the player the option of search with the second.
Any shoutouts/comments?
(Shoutouts to) The Danville group for their support/help in getting ready for this. As well as George C for his assists in making some card decisions and a point in the right direction.
Singing the phrase – “This is the story of girl, she cried a river and drown the whole world” over and over is the secret to its success.

How was the regional?
It went very well. It was wonderful to get to play with my new Japanese cards!
How do you win with your deck?
The deck utilizes a lot of search and salvage to shape the hand to react to a variety of board states. The goal is to get 2 Pendants of Promise into memory to allow Kosaki, Maiden's Heart to be played at Level 2. Kosaki's search aides in setting up for Level 3 with Marika or Chitoge in combo to win out.

Thank you to my boyfriend, Joe, for being supportive of my card game playing! I want to thank all of the players of the Illiana WeiB Schwarz group for being so helpful and nice! They are all talented and skilled players! Also, a big thanks to everyone from The Soldiery WeiB Schwarz Playgroup in Columbus, Ohio for helping me prepare and coming with me to the tournament (as well as naming my deck!)
I love playing WeiB Schwarz and am very glad to see Bushiroad expanding the game.

Phantom
How was the regional?
Great! I was happy with the turnout and got to meet many new players. Nisekoi was definitely one of my greatest worries coming into the regional.
How do you win with your deck?
My phantom build relies heavily on keeping my 1/1 Zweis alive. Though sets with level 1 reversers on the field is the best way to counter phantom since the 1/1 Zwei does not gain levels when having markers. If the 1/1 Zwei is able to stay alive he becomes unmanageable to your opponent where they have to decide to side attack and not let my character get bigger and deal with my enhanced deck compression.

(Shoutouts to) My best friend Alex S was able to win the Gamerz regional. He has worked very hard on building his deck and getting the play testing needed. Even though i hate playing against it haha.
