"Wrath of Chiharu" (Rebirth for you Anime)
How was the Regional?
The event had a bit of a bumpy start with some games against people I am close to along with some unfortunate events happening in a couple of the games, but things managed to work towards my favor to push me into the top cut! Many thanks to the folks at Heart of the Cards for getting this up and running again! It was fun to play this game against people from all over North America!
How do you win?
I aim to prove Go Go Stew's remains the best group of characters in the Rebirth for You franchise. Jokes aside, the deck aims to minimize damage received via SPARK abilities that removes opposing members off the board and Heal while attempting to establish a solid foothold with beefy Entries possibly backed by a named ReCombo that grants protection and sanctity to the Go Go Stew's members that are present to push and widen the damage gap. The starting Entry and 2 of the 8 Rebirths can come in handy to trade out less than desirable characters on the Entry Area and increase the chances of sparking in any of the Rebirths. Other ReCombos present in the deck are there to increase offensive capability, proactively remove members from a full opposing board, and attempt upwards of 4 attacks in a single turn.

I would first like to give a shoutout to the awesome folks over at the Rebirth for You TCG Global Community Discord server for continuing to foster an online consortium for discussing all things Rebirth along with participating in our fair share of tournaments hosted over there! These interactions have helped to improve one another as players, and they definitely help to keep us on our toes and motivate us to strive towards better and consistent results in an otherwise highly variable game! Next, I would like to give a shoutout to my teammate, Megane, and Andy C. for spending additional time close to tournament day for playtesting and ironing out the kinks in gameplay and so on! Last but not least, I must extend a shoutout to my team, Chuuni Clan, for being supportive of my pursuits as a competitive trading card game player and for offering whatever moral support I need to get through thick and thin before and during intensive competitive events like these!
