How was the regional?
It was quite exciting! I'm still a bit shocked about how I did. Lots of good matches, and it was nice to have a chance to play against people from other areas. Rounds started promptly and everything ran smoothly.
How do you win with your deck?
See: Last Chance Interview. Basically, logic drive & covenants for power to go all out on attack, with restands to keep the pressure up. Gain cards & hold paradoxes for defensive/strategy purposes, as needed.
You and the runner-up are actually the first players ever to appear in a Luck & Logic video, in the original teaching videos on worldwide launch day. How do you think the game has changed since launch?
Based on local games & tournaments, yellow Disfia was the dominant deck early on in my area. The defensive power combined with its ability to gain cards in hand or fill the field with members allowed players to have answers to almost any threat. The addition of sets two and three introduced new options, which allowed for more varied strategies. I personally liked Yukari's offensive capabilities, with the ability to restand for multiple attacks, and to overcome the first player downside of a face down level card with +1 attack limits. Mana was another example with a friend's deck which could get cards even better the yellow Disfia and had a strong finisher if your opponent is left with one unbroken gate. Set four and the extra booster helped to further refine newer deck build, as well as make older ones stronger, adding more variety to decks played. At the regional/national tournaments, I saw a variety of deck types, representing all colors worlds and characters. I'm very interested to see how these decks evolve as future sets are released.

Tournament was great! Fun, tense matches all throughout. Would love to see more people playing the game and the game grow for next year. Lots of fun, though!

How was the regional?
It was great! Highly stressful...but great. Today was a good day.
How do you win with your deck?
My decks make my characters really big cross turn and gains as much stock as possible for paying for things and gaining (hopefully) a sufficient amount of hand advantage.
Any shoutouts?
Shoutout to everyone at HG for all the great games. Shoutout to my homeboi, Johny for coming out with me and helping me represent Buffalo.

How was the regional?
The regional was great! Lots of good games, and some really tight (and worrysome) plays. I've been enjoying the game a lot the past several months, and it's great to have strong and fun tournaments.
How do you win with your deck?
Lots of cards to draw me lots more cards. Force my opponent to use enough cards on their turn to run them out of Level Boosts, then use Sky and Sea and Mana and Don't Give Up! Mana to draw my hand back, and Breaking Out of Her Shell Mana and Good Job!! Mana to stay up in power/Aura to keep my extra cards.
Any shoutouts?
Shoutouts to Alicia D, Ben L, and Steve S (and the rest of the HG crew) for humoring me with games all the time. (Also congrats Ben and Steve for topping as well!) See you all at Nationals, and good luck to everyone!

How was the regional?
It was fun! Hoping to get to play against more people at the next event.
How do you win with your deck?
My deck wins by pushing to break gates early game, and then by Aura battles late game to take care of the remaining one or two gates my opponent may have left.

Thank you for the amazing close games that were very intense Jason! It was a lot of fun.
How was the regional?
The tournament was a lot of fun! Had some really close games and rounds went smoothly with no issues. I'm looking forward to the Nationals.
How do you win with your deck?
Use the multiple restand methods along with power boosts from covenants to go all out on offense. Then maintain cards in hand with secondary abilities from the covenanter, as well as Pretty Raptor & Colorful Flower of the South Yukari.
